23in High Gloss Rich Ziricote Wood Ukelele - Acoustic/Electric Option
A truly unique-looking wood, Ziricote has very few imitators; perhaps only the occasional piece of figured Brazilian Rosewood exhibits the same spider-webbing grain figure.

The Ukelele, with its four plastic strings and a short neck, originated in Europe and was introduced to Hawaii in 1879 when a Portuguese immigrant named Joao Fernandez who jumped off the boat and started strumming and singing with his branguinha (a small guitar-like instrument, sometimes called the machete). The tone and volume of the instrument varies with size and construction. Ukuleles commonly come in four sizes: soprano, concert, tenor, and baritone.
